Installation and Care of Stableite Flooring
Stableite mats will give optimum performance only when complemented by an adequate fall on the stable floor coupled with good general drainage.
Stableite mats are
easily installed. They can be cut with the aid of a jigsaw and should be fitted , snugly' (as carpet tiles), working
from the door towards the back of the stable.
Stableite mats are easily cleaned. They can be steam cleaned/pressure hosed, hosed down, disinfected as appropriate and are simply brushed out on a daily basis with a normal hard stable broom.
Stableite recommend using Stableite Stable Deodoriser in conjunction with Stableite flooring mats. This is a powder deodoriser and, when used with Stableite mats, should be sprinkled over the floor before installation of the mats. It should then be brushed onto the top of the mats and thereafter sprinkled onto 'wet' patches after daily mucking out. Available from Stableite, it eliminates odours, absorbs wetness and is completely harmless.
Stableite mats can be removed for thorough cleaning, rotated when desired and, if required, replaced individually.
